– Bedroom Tax, Ladywood, Birmingham


Roddy and his neighbour talking, both effected by the bedroom tax, Ladywood, Birmingham. He was asked to pay bedroom tax for one room, which would take him into debt. He initially moved in 11 years ago. The room is used twice a week for his visiting teenage daughter who otherwise lives with her mother. Roddy a social worker was made redundant in 2009. He is supposed to bring up £15 bedroom tax per week. Ladywood has the highest number of people in Birmingham effected by the bedroom tax.
